I just love this adorable young British kid! He spent his spare time creating a roller coaster in his backyard. He calls his coaster “Excream.”
There are a few people in this world that I just have to admire. It has nothing to do with their fame or loads of gold coins the hoard in their mansions (although that’s pretty cool too.) It’s the fact that they had an idea – even a crazy one and ran with it; followed through and got it out to the masses.
Why are these guys different? They observed a stable of their everyday environment and had an off beat idea on what could make it more fun and interesting. Not only that, they did something 95% of people do not do: THEY ACTED ON IT.
So when I read the headline of Jessica Terry’s story – this immediate reaction was, “Oh geez, now those people will use this to back up their ‘I don’t need to be examined when I already know just what the f**k is wrong with me anyway’ mentality” Yet, when I read her story, I found the complete opposite to be true.
Lori Adams, my new personal favorite 81 year old, has logged 29,000 flight hours in 55 years. Shazaam! And does anyone else notice how great she looks? The red headed super vixen, also known as Queen of the Airport Bums, began flying in her 20′s.
Emily competed for the first time last year and won. Her story could have only helped her. She had been consumed by alcohol and drugs for a few years of her life. Admist personal demons she found the strength to overcome them and completely turn her life around.
There are some homeless guys out there making everybody else look like panzies. I have to agree – they’ve all done more than me. Although I smell nice and have pretty toes. A true toss up for some people.
