The Geocaching alternative is GOWALLA!
Go out. Go discover. Go share. Gowalla.
Share your experiences and discover new places. EVERYWHERE YOU GO.
It’s an iPhone app that allows you to “check in” to spots near you, add stamps to your “passport” and learn about new and interesting places as you travel or drive to work.
My favorite part is the virtual “geocache” option. You can collect, drop and trade items at the places you check in to. On a recent trip to Dallas I got a bad ass tribal mask. Woot Woot!

There are fun trips with predetermined milestones. Little adventures you can take that can help you learn more about your city or mark a fun trip to a new place.

It’s easy and fun. Here’s some pics of Gowalla in action on the iPhone.
